We share everything to each other, we know each other better than we know ourselves. Everything is amazing between us, we always talk on the phone and text and all that. Recently, we kissed. This is where you’d expect me to say now we’re dating. But, no. Both of us aren’t even looking for a relationship, we are perfectly content with our relationship. I don’t think I’d call it a romantic one but it’s definitely not entirely platonic. We’ve kissed a few times and we don’t even check other people out really. Well, the occasional ‘damn look at that hottie’, but he has alot of girls trying to get at him but he just isn’t interested. And i’m not interested in anyone trying to get at me. He basically said I’m all he needs, he doesn’t need a girlfriend, he has me. I feel the exact same way. Is that weird? For best friends to kiss and act like a couple but aren’t? We don’t think of it as a romantic relationship but it’s definitely amazingly special.

No what you have is special and it’s the love. I wish I had that. Cherish it and enjoy 🙂 don’t try to put a label on it just have fun with each other!
If both of you are not looking for or not ready for a relationship then just let things flow naturally. This is definitely something special and positive that both of you should treasure. No one knows what will become in the near future but you don’t need to worry, just let things flow its own course.
